My School Daughter, Gave Me N25Million & Travelled Abroad…. Please Help

my husband impregnated my school daughter
January 22, 2017 – Shock As Barren Woman Gets N25Million Cheque From Husband Who Impregnated School Daughter
My Husband Impregnated My School Daughter, Gave Me N25Million & Travelled Abroad…. Please Help
My name is Ladun. About eight years ago, I got married to Wande who is 10 years older. Life has been beautiful with Wande. Even till now, I don’t know if a man like him exists. He treats me like his greatest treasure. Even when we had cause to argue, he would never raise his voice or assert his role as my husband; instead he would drive the point home in a most subtle manner.
We stuck together like two peas in a pod, preferred to be in each others’ company and could never have enough of each other. Time passed, but I never got pregnant. I began getting really worried in the third year of our marriage.
However, Wande was unperturbed and had this soothing way of calming my fears. Our parents/siblings didn’t complain either; they only wished us well assured that eventually the babies would arrive. After the fifth year and still no signs of pregnancy, I became very uncomfortable and unhappy. But as usual, my darling husband was there for me, ever loving, ever considerate. He even showed more love and I just decided to be thankful for a wonderful husband and wait on the Lord.
Two years ago, while on holidays abroad with my husband, I stumbled on my school daughter. It was a most beautiful reunion. A few months later, she stayed with us when she came to Nigeria and told us of her plans to relocate back to Nigeria. And we decided that upon her return, she could stay in our house till she was comfortable enough to get an apartment. We had two vacant rooms downstairs and I felt her company would be great. More so, Bimbo was such a sweet girl and a born-again Christian and so there was nothing to worry about. She relocated and moved in with us about a year ago, in February, 2016.
Aunty Dupe, Wande’s elder sister and the first child of their parents who stays with us anytime she’s in Nigeria, arrived about that time. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., but comes to Nigeria about four times in a year. I had been very close to her since I was a child and admired her fiercely because she had this way of having her way and being in control of every situation even when it had nothing to do with her personal life. She played a huge role in getting Wande and I married and I remember my sister telling me she wanted her brother to marry a wife she could easily control and one who wouldn’t frown at her husband’s lavish spending on her.
And indeed, she got everything she requested from my brother as I was sure to encourage my husband. I also helped over-look her business on Saturdays. She didn’t like the fact that I had a beautiful young lady living with us and she complained to my husband who allayed her fears. By the second week, she became very friendly to Bimbo and they were all over each other. Aunty Dupe spent a longer time than usual this time as she was expanding her business and even got Bimbo involved. It was a very exciting time for us all. When she returned to the U.S.in May last year, Bimbo left about the same time and told us she had decided to take some short courses and would return at Christmas.
Early this month, I stumbled on my husband and Aunty Dupe having a heated argument on the phone. In my eight years of marriage, I never saw my husband wear such a look of horror as he trembled with rage. I didn’t understand what the argument was all about and as soon as he saw me, he switched off his phones and told me he was taking a walk. Later in bed, he made love to me passionately, told me I was the best thing that happened to him and the most important person in his life. It was most unforgettable.
When he returned from work the next day, he shocked me by giving me a cheque of N25,000,000 (twenty-five million naira). I can’t even remember ever having a third of that in my account. I was too overwhelmed with joy. He then announced to me that he had to travel out of the country that night on an urgent business trip. Strangely, he told me not to hesitate to call the police if anyone made me feel uncomfortable in the house. I laughed it off as a joke and saw him off to the airport very happy.
The following night, Aunty Dupe arrived unannounced. And behind her was Bimbo carrying a baby. Before I could utter a word, Aunty Dupe told me haughtily that we now have a Wande Junior and I should prepare a nursery in the house. I didn’t need to be told Bimbo who wore a frown and avoided making eye-contact with me is the mother.
The trio has been in this house since the past 10 days. Aunty Dupe has made life hellish for me. She’s called me a barren and warned me severally that nothing must happen to Bimbo or the baby. It’s like a movie on Africa Magic Yoruba.
My husband is not calling but sends text messages first thing in the morning and late at night. The whole family is confused and I must confess, this is too much for me, too shocking. I can’t sleep at night.

I keep trying to figure out how it happened and why I should be treated this way by those I love so much. I’m going crazy. Do I leave the house for them? Please advise me.

August 11, 2015 – Husband Divorces Wife Of 25 Years In Lagos Over Her Lateness In Preparing Meals
A 57-year-old man today begged a Customary Court in Ikorodu Lagos to dissolve his 25-year-old marriage  because of his wife’s lateness in preparing his meals.
Olufade Adekoya told the court that his wife, 45-year-old Olusola Adekoya doesn’t cook his food on time and that he has warned her severally but she wouldn’t change.
“Most times I go to the canteen to eat when I am hungry, there is no point in harbouring a wife that makes me hungry. “In fact, my sister saw me there one of these days, I am totally fed up.
“Please separate us, I am no more interested in the marriage.” – said the man
However, the 45-year-old respondent denied all the allegations and accused her husband of wanting to take another wife. “He is accusing me wrongly because he wants to take another wife, please help me beg him.”
The President of the court, Olu Adebiyi dissolved the marriage today for peace to reign.

“I put an end to the union between both of you from today in the interest of peace,” he said

The Shocking Rise Of Paedophilia In Nigeria

Paedophiles In Nigeria
January 24, 2017 – The Shocking Rise Of Paedophiles In Nigeria
An Article By Tony Ogunlowo
Hardly a day goes by when there isn’t a news report about a minor being sexually abused by a much older person. And the shocking thing is that for every case reported dozens are not because the young victims are either too scared of their attackers or embarrassed to talk to anyone. And it’s so bad now that it’s rising to epidemic levels and soon Nigeria will be overtaking Cambodia and the Far East as the paedophile hotspot of the world!
Currently the law stipulates life imprisonment for rape of a minor under the new Sexual Offences Bill but the law doesn’t deal with those who marry under-age girls to circumvent the law. Whilst it is a horrendous crime to rape anyone it’s even worse when the victim is a child and the perpetrator can get away with it by either marrying their victim or shutting them up. Most paedophiles get away with their crimes because they are much older and can intimidate or brainwash their victims. And most of the time the perpetrators of these crimes are people known to the victims as fathers, brothers, neighbours, uncles, in-laws etc.
Disturbingly, families are prepared to put up a wall of silence and pretend as if nothing is going wrong if there is a case of incest or paedophilia going on in their household. They all keep quiet, hoping it blow over, in an attempt to preserve their dignity often threatening the victim to remain quiet and not dealing with the perpetrator.
Some tribes even encourage paedophilia by marrying off their under-age daughters to men old enough to be their grandfathers. And over the years no government policy or law has been put in place to outlaw this practice until recently and it’s still not enforced. Our society needs to shape up; it’s not okay for a 50-year old to be seen walking down the road with his new under-age wife. It doesn’t matter if he’s the richest man in Nigeria, an Oba or Emir. It’s morally wrong and the person belongs in jail! And for those who disagree or hide behind the flimsy excuse of ‘it’s our tradition’, how would you feel if your under-age son or daughter was being sexually abused by a 50-year old? Some men even think it’s ‘cool’ to sleep with an under-age child. It’s not and anybody who sleeps with an under-aged child, whether it’s consensual or not, is a paedophile. On a sadder note thirty-five Nigerian Senators actually voted, recently, for the legalization of child marriage! And the Senators in question all happen to be from the North and Muslims! Somebody ought to tell them we live in the 21st century now and such barbaric acts are not tolerable despite what the Koran says about marriage.
There are those who would like to argue that paedophilia is a disease. It’s not! It’s just a lame excuse given by depraved men to explain away their sick sexual cravings. How else would a certain Northern Senator explain spending $10,000 to ‘buy’ a 13-year old ‘bride’ from Eygpt?
Our first duty should be to the children at risk. Everybody knows who these children at risk are and who they’re at risk from. Instead of minding our own business and turning a blind eye, ignoring the plight of the victim we should stand up to these people and report them to the authorities.
There should be more awareness so people can know what signs to look for if they believe a child is being groomed or abused, for example that ‘nice’ uncle who is always ‘touching’ his young niece and buying her presents is a potential suspect. Parents should learn how to be closer to their children; if you’re too distant to your child there will be things they won’t tell you, like most kids hold things back, and it’s your duty as a parent to sense when things are amiss. Children, just like anybody else, need a shoulder to cry upon and somebody they can talk about anything with. Be that parent they can come to.
Any rape victim, child or adult, doesn’t just carry the physical scars of their attack, which can include contacting a venereal disease or HIV, but emotional scars which are even harder to heal. They can suffer from post-traumatic stress for the rest of their lives. Overwhelmed by it can lead to depression and many have been driven to take their own lives.
We all know the Nigerian Police Force is not equipped to deal with child-rape cases (- or any case really!) and will probably tell the victim’s parents to sort it out themselves, calling it a family or personal matter. This is not good enough but the good news is that we live in the internet age and there are lots of avenues – social media – to shame them into taking action.
There are some organisations out there such as The Eight Foundation, Mirabel Centre and Women against Child Defilement who are not just helping victims of paedophiles but also offer advice and support. Unfortunately they are under-funded (- or not funded at all!) and there’s not enough of them.
Everybody needs to be vigilant. Child rape or paedophilia is not acceptable not just in this country but anywhere in the world.

January 18, 2017- Pictures: Pakistani Woman Sentenced To Death For Burning Daughter Live Says She Has No Regrets
  • A Pakistani mother has been sentenced to death for burning her daughter alive in a so-called “honor killing” incident.

  • Parveen Bibi told a court in Lahore, Punjab that she killed her daughter “for bringing shame to her family,” police spokeswoman Nabila Ghazanfar told CNN Tuesday.

  • Parveen’s son Ahmer Rafique was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the crime.

Zeenat Rafique, 18, was strangled and set alight by her mother and brother in June 2016 after she eloped against their wishes.

Rafique had been living with her new husband for a month before she visited her home in Lahore in the hopes of a reconciliation with her family.
But when Rafique arrived, her mother and brother tied her to a bed, poured gasoline and set her on fire, police said.
Parveen then turned herself over to the authorities but expressed no sorrow for actions.

Under new anti-“honor killing” laws that took effect in October, neither Parveen or her son will be eligible for pardon even if another family member forgives them for the crime.
Previously, murderers were able to walk free in many instances, creating what critics characterized as a culture of impunity. Now, a killer will face a minimum sentence of 25 years in jail.

The law’s passage came after a series of high-profile incidents, including the murder of social media star Qandeel Baloch by her brother, who later said he was “proud” of his actions.

According to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, almost 300 women were victims of such killings in the first half of 2016.

In a 2015 report by the World Economic Forum, Pakistan ranked 144 out of 145 countries on gender disparity.
