ecowas troops senegal gambia January 18, 2017 – Nigerian Soldiers & ECOWAS Troops Head To Senegal To Force Gambian President Yahya Jammeh To Step Down Nigerian troops will arrive at the ECOWAS troops base in Senegal today to ensure that President Jammeh steps down safely on Thursday the 19th of January 2017. Nigerian Warship NNS UNITY is also on its way to Gambia to support the operation. Here is what a top military source said about the planned operation:
