The 3-storey building where late German Politician Adolf Hitler was born on the 20th of April 1889 is set for demolition.

The house located in Braunau am Inn, a border town with Germany in Austria was seized from the private owner in July by the government of Austria.

The decision to demolish the problematic structure followed recommendation by Vienna’s Jewish community and leading Austrian historians.

Experts are seeking to destroy the house to stop neo-Nazis from visiting the early home of the former Nazi dictator.

The former Nazi dictator didn’t find peace in his lifetime, he shot himself in the head on the 30th of April 1945 in an underground Bunker in Berlin.  His wife, Eva also committed suicide with him by taking a cyanide capsule.

The deceased bodies were burnt and buried in a garden near the bunker entrance.
